Sherri Pennington, 62, of Covington, KY passed away October 2, 2020 at home surrounded with love by her family after a brave and fearless battle of cancer. The fight she displayed in her cancer battle matched the narrative of her life as she overcame many things along the way. Her strength was admirable. She remained vibrant, outspoken and loving with all she had into her journey of eternal life.
She is now resting peacefully with her parents, Carlos Petty and Patsy Sipple, her brother, Todd Petty, and her son Shamus Sawyer. She is survived by her sons Josh Gross (Tracy) and Ryan Sawyer (Jennifer). She is also survived by her brothers Mark Petty (Julie) and Brett Petty (Rhonda). Also surviving are her grandchildren Bryson, Jasmine, and special friend Skyler. Sherri will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Calvary Baptist Church located at 3711 Tibbatts Street, Covington, KY 41015 on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 4:00 p.m-5:00 p.m. with a service to begin at 5:00 p.m.
