Myra M. O’Neil June 11, 1954 - October 9, 2020

Mrs. Myra M. O’Neil (maiden Staubach), 66, of Highland Heights, Kentucky passed away October 9th,  2020 at home surrounded by her family.  She had been in Hospice care since last Christmas with cancer.

Myra was born June 11th, 1954 in Cincinnati and graduated from Taft High School in Hamilton, Ohio in 1972. She traveled extensively throughout the western states living in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arizona. She moved back to Cincinnati in 1982 and soon met Jim, her beloved husband.  They were married May 5th, 1984 in Jim’s parent’s home which, in 1993, became their home too, along with Jim’s father.

She is survived by her husband James M. O’Neil and her three children, Jennifer Wilson (husband, David Wilson), Rachele O’Neil (Thomas Petty), and James J. O’Neil.

Grandchildren by age are Angelina, Amen & Logen, Thomas, Dakota, and Raylen.  She has one sister, Rena Phillips (husband, Lonnie Phillips) and sister-in-law, Janet Shenefelt, along with nieces, Melissa Thielman (husband, Nathan Thielman), and Renee Munch (husband, Ashley Munch), and  Gina Shenefelt.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Staubach and beloved Boxer, Willow.

Myra was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.  She was a part time cook and enjoyed feeding the children at the Julie Learning Center for the past 13 years.  She took pride in maintaining a beautiful home and loved entertaining and cooking for her family and friends.  She had an exceptional green thumb and always kept plants and fresh flowers in the house.  She enjoyed antiquing and yard sales, collecting furniture and china, and was very active on social media.

She will be greatly missed.  The family will receive friends Saturday, October 17th from 1:00-7:00 at their home.  Please reach out directly to the family for further details.
