Edward Clemens Rosen October 13, 1931 - April 29, 2023

Edward Clemens Rosen, 91, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2023. Born October 13, 1931, to George and Flora Rosen, he was the seventh of eight children and grew up on a dairy farm near Madisonville, Ohio. He was a 1950 graduate of Purcell High School, then served in the Air Force until 1954. He married Kerin McCarthy on July 7, 1956, and was the father of seven children.

He worked for Proctor & Gamble, retiring in 1993. An avid golfer, he found the perfect retirement job working at Circling HiIls Golf Course for the next 27 years. And of course he played whenever he had a chance.

Edward was a devoted husband, father and friend. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Flora Rosen; sisters Florence (Warren) Wolf, Alice (Joseph) Morency, and Irene Rosen; brothers Raymond, Robert (Betty), George (Clara) and Carl (Anna) Rosen; and son Neil Rosen. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Kerin Rosen, of Harrison, Ohio; daughter Laurie (Mike) Murphy, son Marc (Nancy) Rosen, and daughters Heather Duty, Maria Rosen, Jennifer Leugers, and Erin Rosen; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Nathanael Greene Lodge on May 15, 2023, from 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish, Taylor Creek, on May 16, 2023, at 10am, with internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Nathanael Greene Lodge on May 15, 2023, from 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish, Taylor Creek, on May 16, 2023, at 10am, with internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
